That’s right, sports fans! More of Alex Trebek goodness from me: ManWithPez. Enjoy!  This is a placeholder, as I’m writing up some new ones to take its place on Fridays.  Promise!

1. The FCC Censors have to keep a close eye on Jeopardy. The reason: Whenever a contestant bets less than a true Daily Double, Alex Trebek invariably calls them a pussy.

2. Alex Trebek once met with the Queen of England. His introduction: “I’m Alex Trebek, bitch!” She knighted him on the spot. That’s Sir Alex Trebek to you and me.

3. The episode of “The X-Files” that Alex Trebek appeared in was almost called “Alex Trebek’s Jose Chung’s From Outer Space Starring Alex Trebek”. TV Guide couldn’t fit it on one page. Alex Trebek cancelled his subscription, and TV Guide circulation went down 83%.

4. Alex Trebek’s name is a killing word.

5. Alex Trebek brings carnage one question at a time at 6:30pm CST EVERY DAY. The best Chuck Norris could muster was Walker once a week. Pansy.

6. Chuck Norris is too stupid to appear on Celebrity Jeopardy (and that’s saying something) per Alex Trebek, because Alex Trebek fears no man.

7. Chuck Norris doesn’t sleep, he waits. Alex Trebek doesn’t wait. He just fuckin’ does it.

8. Alex Trebek didn’t shave off his mustache. It was afraid of his superior intellect and snuck off one night, never to return.

9. You remember on the Smurfs whenever Brainy would run his mouth, and someone would toss him over a hill? Alex Trebek did that to Ken Jennings. Twice.

10. Alex Trebek’s wife knows the meaning of a “true Daily Double”.

There you go. Ten more for you…and me. Because Alex Trebek allowed me to do it. No shirt is manly enough for TREBEK!

I find the phenomena surrounding Chuck Norris as fascinating and hilarious as the next guy, I really do. But, at times, it’s a bit brawny.  Not everything can be solved with a roundhouse kick.  Therefore, here’s a new icon some of us nerdier types can get behind.  Plus, he’s just awesomer than Chuck Norris.  That’s right, I’m speaking of…Alex Trebek.

Now…for some of those lists like Chuck’s…hmmmm…let’s see.

1. Chuck Norris will sleep with your mom. Alex Trebek scored with Chuck Norris’s mom.

2. Guard dogs once tried to attack Alex Trebek. He confused them with a hockey stick and a “Daily Double”

3. Chuck Norris tried to round house kick Alex Trebek, but couldn’t because he failed to put his round house kick in the form of a question.

4. Alex Trebek once bitch slapped Stephen Hawking for saying something totally stupid. Ask Stephen why he’s in the chair.

5. It takes Chuck Norris twenty minutes to watch Sixty Minutes. Alex Trebek doesn’t need to watch Sixty Minutes. He’s already twenty minutes ahead of everyone else.

6. Alex Trebek likes to drink a pint before he goes onstage. A pint of Jeopardy loser’s blood, that is.

7. If you finish in the negative on Jeopardy, not only do you not go on to Final Jeopardy…you have to face Alex in the Backstage Commercial Break Arena. And Alex Trebek never loses.

8. Alex Trebek IS the Juggernaut, bitch!

9. The judges they never show on Jeopardy…All Alex Trebek.

10. When told to dumb down Jeopardy so the celebrity contestants could have a good time, Trebek said “They’re too stupid to have a good time.” And other “Road House” quotes.(Because Road House is secretly based on Alex Trebek’s life)

I’m starting to like this idea. I think this could catch on.

PS…I’ll try to find a more manly picture of Trebek next time. But…he does kinda look like Magnum in that one. Or rather…Magnum looks like him!  I’ve written several of these in the past, so be on the lookout for them here, as well as some new ones.
