I asked ThatCostumeGirl who she’d like to see written up as a hot nerd mancrush, and after .03 seconds of thinking she came up with Miguel Ferrer.  Sounds perfect to me.  I don’t think we see enough of this son of Jose Ferrer and Rosemary Clooney myself.  Over the years, he’s amassed quite the nerdbait catalog of films, but there is a film he was in that isn’t for the nerds where he gave a truly terrifying performance.  More on that later.  Hot Nerd Mancrush Miguel Ferrer starts after the jump. Surely you saw this coming.  Hot Nerd Crush on Monday was Mary Steenburgen, Tuesday’s movie review was Time After Time…so who else was the Hot Nerd Mancrush going to be?  None other than Malcolm McDowell, that’s right.  Suffice it to say that I’m not altogether certain that time has been all that kind to Mr. McDowell.  Doesn’t stop me from appreciating what a great actor he was back in the day.  He’s still pretty, of course, but it’s more of a regal, older man thing. Before I begin, yes I questioned the wisdom of putting up a mancrush who had passed on.  The truth is that most of the people I find attractive have been dead for some time.  Wait, that didn’t sound right.  Anyways, at one time, I felt that Christopher Reeve was just a one trick pony who only had a supercard up his sleeve.  I was very happy to have been proven wrong on that account.  So, let’s take a look at Mr. Reeve, shall we?
