You don’t have to look around here very long to understand that I’m a huge Mythbusters fan.  Indeed, besides my little love note to Malcolm McDowell, the two next highest attention gathering articles I’ve written here have been Chuck Norris vs Grant Imahara and some rules for a Mythbusters drinking game.  This being self declared Superhero month, however, I’ve decided that today, I’m going to inject some of my favorite comics characters into one of my favorite shows.  I ran into a problem however.  Find out what it was after the jump. Not what I had in mind. At all.

The superhero has got to have the right kicks for the right job.  Granted, some of them…well, they just don’t.  Lady superheroes…I’m looking at you here.  Now, I’m not trying to get anyone up in arms here.  These are the costumes that I like, and I stand by them.  There’s only one non-comic one on the list.  There may be a couple missing that you think should be on here, and, that’s okay.  No problem.  It wouldn’t be a ManWithPez list if it didn’t piss off at least one person.  Some of these are pretty specific to certain books, and I’ll list as is comes up.  Some of my favorite costumes for superheroes after the jump. Truer words, my friends. This is how awful shit really gets started.

I can’t really understand most supervillains in comics.  I mean, apparently over in Gotham City, all it takes is losing your job to drive most people over the edge into killing people left and right for no reason other than they’re just pissed off.  So, I imagine that you have to tread lightly around them.  You never know when minor annoyance is going to lead to “Off with his head!”  or some other horrible consequence of being annoying.   I, for one, like that I’m alive, and want to keep my body parts functioning.  Then again, these are all fake people, so screw em!  I mean, who are you really going to piss off by talking shit about comic book supervillains?  What’s that?  Oh…anyone who’d ever come to this site on their own.  Gotcha.  How to annoy supervillains after the jump. Wait a minute (you’re thinking…shit, I don’t know what you’re thinking.  This is what I’m thinking you’re thinking. ) these are comic book characters!  Well, thanks Captain Obvious, but I’ve explained that you can crush on fictional characters several times on this site.  Yes, it’s a little weird, but I think if you stick around through this month, you’re going to see a trend.  I’d like to dedicate April to Superheroes!  Let’s get started, shall we? Ohhh...so that's where rollergirls come from.

I’ve fallen a little behind in my postings.  Perhaps it’s because I’m getting older.  Perhaps it’s because my daughter’s getting older.  Both are reasons to be driven to distraction, but I’m trying to get on top of things again.  I have to say that it was easier to find daddies and their girls than it was to find fathers and sons.  Maybe because the dynamic offers so many ways to be more dramatic.  It’s like my father told me when he found out I was having a daughter “When you have a son, all you have to worry about is that one boy.  When you have a daughter, you have to worry about all the other boys out there.”  Right or wrong,  fathers and daughters in popular media make for compelling viewing.  Some of my favorites after the jump. Today is my son’s birthday.  In honor of this, I’m going to write a little piece about some of my favorite father/son relationships.  However, as is my wont here at ManWithPez, none of these are what you’d consider traditional father/son relationships, ohhhhh no.  In fact,  only one pair is actually blood related.  Having said that, I think we’ll do without the typical rank structure I usually employ with these types of lists, and just jump in.  Who’s ready?  I know I am, and before I go on…Happy 7th, Alexander.  Daddy is very proud of you.  Fathers and sons after the jump. It’s still one of my favorite cartoons!  Justice League Unlimited seems, sometimes to make better fiction with the DC Universe’s characters than DC does.  Actually, it doesn’t seem that way…it is that way!  So, let’s have a look at some of the characters and who I would cast in some of the bigger roles.  Granted, I’m not going to cast them all, because that roster is huge!  I’m going for some of the key people.  So, JLU Casting Call after the jump! Shifty eyed manservants! No wonder they're always being accused of crimes!

Butlers throughout fiction are know for their discretion, their reserve, and their work ethic.  Being good at all these thing doesn’t necessarily mean a good butler, since on the whole, it’s a butler that gives his master a comeuppance of some kind that most people seem to like.  The good thing about this list is that there are so many butlers in all forms of media that I can just keep writing about them if I like.  So, don’t be surprised if I’m quite lazy one day and produce a second part to this list when I can’t think of anything else to do.  Or rather, my manservant can’t come up with one.  (That’s my motto:  Blame the help!)  The best butlers after the jump! Oh, like you wouldn't make out with yourself?

Nerds the world over have united on one thing in recent years.  That the retcon pieceashit Brand New Day in Spider-Man over at Marvel Comics is the worst thing to happen since the Clone Saga.  Admittedly, I haven’t read much of Brand New Day.  Why?  Because it shits all over one of the best relationships in comics.  But, my real problem with the above statement is (sigh, I kinda hate to admit this) I LIKED the Clone Saga.  Find out why after the jump.
