 It doesn’t do to forget where one comes from, and as you can clearly see from this photo I found over at FILM.com, George Clooney still remembers from whence he came.  I would still bet, however, that he was pulling tail with this look back in the day.  Meanwhile, I couldn’t get kissed in high school, let alone…uh…anything else, and I know I looked better than this.   I mean, come on…he looks like the nerd the other nerds used to beat up!  Whatever.  He managed to pull his shit together and make a global community of woman fawn over him.  Perhaps, one day, I can do the same!  Let’s see what I can do!

Please...just say one of these phrases around me, and this is the scene that plays in my head.

ThatCostumeGirl read my last list of abusings of the English language and reminded me that I forgot a couple.   Turns out that I’m just a hate filled machine that basically dislikes everyone’s words that aren’t mine.  And, I stand by that.  Like I’ve said before, if you use any of these, I don’t mean to anger you, and I wouldn’t say anything to you, but inside, I’d be as clenched as a hermorrhoidic cocaine user who just sat on a hedgehog.  Angering words and phrases after the jump! So busy that I had to get a graphic off a Tshirt instead of an actual graphic.

Here at ManWithPez we are dealing with a lot of things that have a whole lot to do with paperwork.  Not actual paperwork, but things having to do with it.  We are in a slight holding pattern that should be cleared up in the next couple of days, and then we’ll be coming back to you the inanities of our nerd filled world.  For now, though…courage.

This is my blog.  There are many like it, but this one is mine.  Therefore, I’m going to air some old aggravations on it.  Now, if you use any of the phrases or words I’m about to ridicule, don’t worry.  I already know that much of what I say could be called into like scrutiny, and I’m fine with that.  Also, when I hear these things, I roll with it.  Just know that deep within me, my nerd teeth are gnashing much like a rabid beaver when they’ve got ahold of a particularly nasty bit of wood.  What pisses me off after the jump! I don’t believe this pair has ever been featured in anything together, but that’s okay.  That’s what we’re shooting for with this weekly article (which, for some reason, nabs my biggest number of visits each week).  So, we’ve got a movie star, who’s been in some of the best nerdbait films of all time, and a TV star who’s hot and apparently doesn’t mind being around a group of guys acting like dorks constantly.  Kaley and Michael after the jump. Damn!  Go a week without kicking Chuck Norris’s ass, and people will notice.  So, here it is, because YOU demanded it!  You know…I just hadn’t noticed that we hadn’t had a woman fight Chuck Norris on one of these outings.  Actually, that’s not true.  A lot of thought went into picking who was going to take on Chuck’s brawn and beard this week.  I could’ve gone with any old piece of nerdbait cheesecake(mmmm…cheesecake).  But, instead, I decided to go with a badass chick that none of us can deny.  Sigourney Weaver vs Chuck Norris after the jump. Hey, look Chewie! Those nerds over there are having a boring conversation!

I’m a passing fan of Star Wars.  Now, I hear you bristling up out there.  Truth is, maybe I should have my nerd card pulled, because I think they’re awesome movies, but I’m never going to devote my life to Star Wars.  That being said, there are some zealous fans out there that have turned Star Wars, as creative a property as it is, into something more awesome that the sum of its parts!  Here are a few redubs and mashups.   And, while I know most of them are older,…I don’t really care.  Star Wars funny after the jump. It’s still one of my favorite cartoons!  Justice League Unlimited seems, sometimes to make better fiction with the DC Universe’s characters than DC does.  Actually, it doesn’t seem that way…it is that way!  So, let’s have a look at some of the characters and who I would cast in some of the bigger roles.  Granted, I’m not going to cast them all, because that roster is huge!  I’m going for some of the key people.  So, JLU Casting Call after the jump! So...how many dead people are in this picture?

I’ve gone out of my way to try and pester the Twilight set, and for good reason, I think.  That being said, I think True Blood and The Southern Vampire Mysteries are awesome.  Well, season 2 of True Blood was off a bit, but there was enough “What The Fuck” to keep me tuning in.  I’ve read all the books, seen all the episodes, and I think that the people of Bon Temps, Louisiana would be easy to piss off.  Then again, we’re talking about vampires of a distinctly non-sparkly variety, so you might want to tread carefully.  Ten New Ways to Annoy the True Blood People starts after the jump.  Oh…and there are some spoilers here.  Mostly from the books, so watch out. Ah, the crushes!  Sure, sure, I like them all.  If they contribute to nerdicy, they will be featured here sooner or later.  And, we have two great ones here this week.  One was found as a dirty nerd, and the other makes a living hosting a show where he’s just plain dirty.  There’s something about them both, and beyond the hotness.  Let’s take a look at Mike Rowe and Amy Acker after the jump.
