Hey, look Chewie! Those nerds over there are having a boring conversation!
I’m a passing fan of Star Wars. Now, I hear you bristling up out there. Truth is, maybe I should have my nerd card pulled, because I think they’re awesome movies, but I’m never going to devote my life to Star Wars. That being said, there are some zealous fans out there that have turned Star Wars, as creative a property as it is, into something more awesome that the sum of its parts! Here are a few redubs and mashups. And, while I know most of them are older,…I don’t really care. Star Wars funny after the jump.
In honor of David Prowse, who has just passed, here’s a redub of Darth Vader (that was Prowse in the suit) and some non-Star Wars James Earl Jones voice over work. Turns it into a whole other movie. A slightly better one in my estimation.
And, to demonstrate that the Dark Lord of the Sith was truly evil, here’s Darth Vader being…well, just a jerk.
I don’t know why I think this is awesome, but it’s the Dallas opening mashed up with Star Wars. There’s going to be a few of these, but I don’t know how many times I’ve seen this one, but it never gets old to me.
