An annoying bird for an annoying holiday.

This list may be a bit different than some in the past.  I’ve spent the whole week away from my girlfriend, away from my children for the most part, and in the company of my parents and siblings.  All those slf deprecating things I’ve said about me being annoying?  I take all that back.  I’m nothing.  I’m an amateur.  These people have stock in trade about how to be annoying, and yes, I’m just a bit bitter about it.   The ten newest ways to annoy people starts now. …we replaced the cast of WKRP with the quirky crew from Firefly? Before you ask “why?”, let me explain where this train of thought originated. ManWithPez and I enjoy watching reruns of WKRP. It reminds of us of our youth and it’s freakin’ hilarious. One evening during a WKRP marathon ManWithPez noticed Gary Sandy and Nathan Fillion share some movement and personality traits. We decided then and there that should WKRP ever return to the small screen, or large, that Nathan should assume the role of Andy Travis. That kernel of fun led to recasting the station crew with Serenity’s crew. (more…)

November is time travel month here at ManWithPez, as I’ve pointed out any number of times, courtesy of Doctor Emmett Brown and the invention of the Flux Capacitor on Nov, 5th.  What better time to wheel out a top ten list of my personal favorite time machines in various forms of fiction.  I love the time travel plot device, and some of the machines that writers and prop builders come up with are some of the coolest looking machines ever.  Let’s get started! It may not be the best out of three, but Back to the Future III is still one hell of an entertaining film.  Why?  It eschews the problems most people had with the second one (too convoluted) to tell a kickass science fiction cowboy story about Doc Brown’s finally getting a piece of ass.  Ah well, that’s the power of love, I suspect. The single most annoying character in all of video games.

As stated previously, annoying people is far too easy not to do.  In fact, most of us do it without ever knowing we’re doing it.  Me, personally, I try to keep an eye out for such things, and not just because I write a weekly article about how to do it.  For instance, a waiter at a local eatery recently spoke entirely directly into my ear.  You think he knew he was being annoying?  He does now, however.  New Ways to Annoy after the jump. Oh, we’ve been down this avenue before with Alton Brown.  Honestly, I think given the proper preparation time and tools, Alton could actually take down old Beardface.  What, you find that nickname offensive, Norris fans?  Okay, I’ll just start calling him Sasquatch.  Actually, I’m kinda worried that one of my grandparents or another will come over to this site and find me badmouthing Walker.  I’ll probably be disowned.  Heh…It’s worth it.  Alton Brown vs Chuck Norris Round II starts now.
